The main purpose of our Store Design Concept is to present our products in the most luxurious environmental spaces. In the role as Global Store Design & Construction Procurement Manager, you need to foster the strong collaboration with the Global Store Design Team and Regional Teams as well as with our manufacturing partners to ensure that Procurement policies and processes are respected.

 

This challenging key position is essential to La Prairie Group as you will bring your expertise to your regional and local stakeholders, enabling them to get sustained competitive advantage, being compliant and maximize value. This role reports to the Procurement Director.

 

How you will create a beautiful impact:

  • Monitor and maintain the relevant global supplier strategy.

  • Manage or supervise general merchandising procurement activities for all subsidiaries.

  • Source right suppliers in close cooperation with the Global Store Design Team and handle their onboarding process.

  • Identify and evaluate potential new sources of Merchandising manufacturers (shop fitters).

  • Contract Management – negotiate commercial- and master agreement conditions with suppliers as required and in close cooperation with Legal Department.

  • Recommend operational/technical improvements to reinforce efficiency.

  • Support rollout of procurement policies including training, follow up of local implementation, execution.

  • Ensure procurement good practices in line with internal and external compliance guidelines.

  • Lead bidding processes globally for flagship projects with a budget value above a certain threshold.

  • Manage centralized production of certain materials (monitor and re-order to avoid out of stock).

  • Conduct procurement data and market analysis, determine risks and opportunities.

  • Continuously analyse spend to identify cost reduction initiatives, prepare monthly KPI reports.

  • Maintain all relevant data in SAP, prepare, collect and archive all necessary documentation.

  • Support the development and implementation of standardized tools, practices and procedures.

 

What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.

  • 7+ years professional working experience and thereof 3 years with similar responsibility

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to influence business partners, internally and externally, conveying value creation and communicating it accordingly. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, work cross functionally and drive change across all levels of the organization and geographical boundaries.

  • Results-oriented, proactive, service-driven person with a strong team spirit.

  • Flexible personality, able to work in a dynamic & culturally heterogeneous environment.

  • Digital savvy-sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Ppt, Word), SAP R/3 (MM module) & Qlikview or equivalent.

  • Very good written and spoken English skills.

  • Travels required from time to time.
