Classroom Assistant Teachers are integral members of the grade-level team, working closely with the Classroom Teachers to whom they are assigned to provide effective learning environments for students. We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our Grade 2 team, which includes 2 international and 1 bilingual class.
Responsibilities

Supports the work of the Classroom Teacher in accordance with the ZIS curriculum, along with the ZIS Mission and Philosophy, Character Standards and Learning Principles

Assists the Teacher in planning and implementing daily lesson plans

Works with individual students and small groups as needed

Supports the emotional, physical and social development of students
Essential requirements
-
BA / BSC or equivalent university degree

Fluent in German
-
Ability to connect with and support students with diverse learning needs, including multilingual learners

Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
-
A valid work permit for Switzerland
Previous recent experience working in a school will be a distinct advantage.
