Your key responsibilities
Understand the challenges of our clients!
- Perform complex requirements assessment and derive technical objectives & specifications
- Help to find ways to improve the client's technology footprint regarding level of automatization and flexibility
- Support presales activities through functional scoping and solution design
Create an outstanding Architecture!
- Implement high-level cloud designs to support our client's requirements and constraints
- Define & design solution architecture on Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS and/or Google Cloud environment
- Ensure solutions are stable, secure, and compliant with the companies' standards and practices
- On the lookout for continuous improvement, reusablity and automation
Think ahead – be an influencer!
- Keep pace on industry standards in cloud infrastructure, security and automation design
- Have the ability to research, develop and propose new technologies to improve/transform solution architecture
- Author and share technical and functional documentation – be part of the EY communities
- Author and/or support blog articles and marketing campaigns – build your own brand
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
-
Degree in Computer Science, engineering or another relevant field (Bachelor's degree minimum)

Experience in Azure deployment and administration
-
Experience around the design and deployment of infrastructure and networks for hybrid cloud implementations
-
Practical experience with hybrid identity implementations with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
-
Experience with PowerShell and scripting technologies
-
Experience with Azure tenant configuration and management
-
Experience with Azure Devops, CI/CD, Testing Automation or equivalent platforms

Experience with workload time estimations
-
Familiar with cloud governance concepts, compliances, policies and roles

Solid experience as infrastructure and network engineer (or relevant position)

Solid experience with Microsoft Azure solution architecture

Full professional proficiency in English and ideally German
Ideally, you'll also have
- Other Cloud Certifications (such as AWS)
- Experience in IT consulting desired
