Process Engineer Power to Gas

Your responsibilities

• You develop design concepts for our Power-to-Gas (PtG) products and systems (H2, Methane, Syngas projects), from basic to detail engineering (in collaboration with other departments)
• You prepare process engineering designs, heat & mass balance sheets, P&IDs, engineering lists, functional descriptions and plans, and detail component designs (e.g., compressors, pumps, ducts, pipes)
• You support the preparation of offers for the Power-to-Gas (PtG) part (contract study, concept development, process engineering calculations, preparation of block- and process flow diagrams)
• You conduct the technical evaluation of bids, join the supplier selection process, and ensure timely order of your assigned systems and components
• You ensure correct implementation of the process specifications during planning and construction phase
• You support during the execution phase (e.g., specify measurement technology, risk analysis, documents control)
• You support during the commissioning phase for control optimization and customer training
• You support the preparation of the operation manual and documentation
• You travel up to 20% internationally

Your experiences

• Trained process / chemical / mechanical / environmental engineer with 2+ years' experience as process engineer in plant engineering, PtX experience is a plus
• Proficient in the use of CAE tools (COMOS or alike) and MS Office
• Organized, precise, and high-quality work style combined with effective communication skills
• Fluent in English, good command of German
