Your tasks:
As the S/4HANA Conversion Program Manager and single point of contact for Bruker BioSpin’s business in the Bruker SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion process, you will lead and coordinate the activities required for a Best-Practice-S/4HANA conversion for Bruker BioSpin in line with the company’s overall Enterprise Architecture strategy. You will align the goals, scope, roadmap, risk mitigation, data migration and implementation activities between business, corporate IT, master data management and the running PDM and PLM initiatives. You represent the interests of Bruker BioSpin in all corporate S/4HANA program activities and steering bodies, support and contribute to the overall governance of Bruker BioSpin’s business IT System landscape and ensure, that the S/4HANA conversion is successful in supporting Bruker BioSpin to accelerate our digital transformation enabling future growth & development.
The role will be instrumental to bringing Bruker BioSpin forward before, during and after this SAP transformation taking opportunities to enable our business with state-of-the-art S/4HANA capabilities.
Furthermore you will manage and ensure that
- a proper analysis of the current SAP ECC landscape, pain points and opportunities are performed and documented for Bruker BioSpin;
- scope of the S/4HANA corporate conversion program is clearly defined based on the SAP Activate methodology (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run), understood and shared at Bruker BioSpin;
- constraints (Scope, Cost, Time, Performance), business requirements, their priorities and implementation roadmap are aligned with each other and with BBIO’s Enterprise Architecture and roadmap;
- the transformation is professionally managed to convert Bruker BioSpin’s current SAP ECC application and business processes to a state-of-the-art, S/4HANA standard architecture and corresponding standard business processes and applications landscape;
- the project team is enabled on agile project delivery approach;
- a target-oriented transformation program is managed in close collaboration with your peers in the team, who are all experts in their fields: E2E SAP development and processes, system and enterprise architecture, PDM/PLM systems and processes, strategy development and strategy execution;
- the new S/4HANA business architecture and data model is properly embedded in our core business IT system landscape (Teamcenter, Salesforce, Azure, etc.) enabling our business to utilize an innovative and standardized business process landscape supporting our current and future business models;
- communication within all stakeholders is established in a constructive and target-oriented manner.
- issues are captured and their resolution managed in accordance with priorities and in timely manner;
- change and transformation journey is facilitated and managed within Bruker BioSpin and with the involved other Bruker entities and corporate functions;
- the business and architecture risks (processes, data, GDPR, applications related, …) are captured, addressed, communicated and a mitigation plan is actively managed;
- the program documentation is complete, concise and supports smooth validation, business readiness and cut over/deployment.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or similar
- Proven experience (9-12 years) in leading S/4HANA conversion projects in large global industrial organizations as external or in-house consultant
- Solid knowledge of SAP business processes and applications (ECC and S/4 HANA standard)
- Demonstrated experience in implementing S/4 HANA-based applications
- Basic knowledge of enterprise architecture modeling methods
- Solid knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management
- Result-oriented mindset with a successful track record with “hands-on” mentality
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex topics in a way that is appropriate for the target group and to win others
- Experience in leading change across global matrix-oriented enterprises and processes
- Analytical and structured thinking ability, balanced with attention to detail to successfully plan and oversee complex and large-scale projects and programs
- Strong business acumen and industrial background as well as strategic thinking skills to facilitate decision-making process up to C-level.
- Sound understanding of IT project management standards & methodologies such as ITIL, SCRUM, etc.
- Fluent in German and English
