We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates with strong people skills who want to grow, learn, and make a difference. If you hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD and have up to three years of professional experience, apply for our 18-month Graduate Programme starting on 1 September 2027.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of reinsurance, rotate into different local teams, and receive tailored training to build your expertise. About the Role

This role places you at the heart of Swiss Re's financial decision-making. Working closely for the Group CFO, Group CEO and the Board of Directors, you will deliver insights that directly influence decision making at management level.

As a Graduate in Group Financial Performance Management & Planning (FP&A), you will gain a unique, Group-wide perspective on how one of the world’s leading reinsurance companies is managed, steered and valued.

• Analyse Swiss Re’s financial performance and identify the key drivers, trends and emerging developments behind the numbers
• Contribute to financial planning and performance management, helping senior management understand where we stand and where we are heading
• Analyse competitors, financial markets and investor perspectives to understand how Swiss Re performs and is valued relative to its peers
• Develop insights and materials for the Group CFO, Group CEO, Executive Committee and Board of Directors
• Collaborate across Finance, Investor Relations, Strategy and the Business Units, building a broad network and understanding of Swiss Re from day one

About the Team

Group Financial Performance Management & Planning (FP&A) sits at the center of Swiss Re's financial and strategic decision-making process. Our work combines financial analysis of Swiss Re and competitors, financial planning, and corporate strategy.

As part of a small, high-performing team, you will work closely with the Investor Relations, Planning and Group Strategy teams and gain exposure to executive management and business leaders. We foster an environment of intellectual curiosity, ownership and continuous learning, where team members are encouraged to challenge ideas, take initiative and contribute from day one.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with a strong academic background, a keen interest in financial markets and re/insurance, and the determination to develop their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong analytical mindset
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced, international environment
• High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information

Nice to have:

• Professional experience in consulting, finance, and/or (re)insurance

The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
